Roles and Responsibilities: Senior Piping Engineer

  1. Design and Development: Lead the conceptual, front-end, and detailed design of piping systems for the Oil and Gas/Petrochemical industry.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Utilize Navisworks Model software for 3D modeling and Ceaser II for piping stress analysis.
  3. Project Management: Oversee multiple piping design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs meet quality standards and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
  5. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and project documentation.
  6. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and present design updates.
  7. Training and Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
  8. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design and engineering challenges, optimizing system performance.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to industry codes, standards, and regulations, staying updated with changes.
  10. Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution and effective communication.

Detailed Work Profile:
The Senior Piping Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing piping systems within the Oil and Gas/Petrochemical industry. The role includes:

  • Conceptual, front-end, and detailed design work.
  • Preparation of plot plans, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and isometrics.
  • Utilizing Navisworks Model software and Ceaser II for piping stress analysis.

Contract Duration: Yearly renewable

Location of Posting: Kochi

Experience Required: 8 to 14 years

Education Profile Specifications

Graduation: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 

Special Course: Certification in Piping is preferred
